She is such a good role model. For real, not only did she survive a bullet to the head, but she is still continuing to stand for what she believes in? Serious props to Malala. Not only that, she just proves that not all Muslims are terrorists and anti-women and whatnot. TEAM MALALA
Until I started writing my thesis about the Muslim women’s right in the Middle East, North Africa and Western Europe, I always thought that they were passive and too weak to fight for it (because that world was not too familiar for me). No! They’re real role model of how to endure and fight for your rights. She truly is someone to admire and respect!

do you ever get cuddle frustrated? Not sexually frustrated, but just get really frustrated and asdfghklg because you’re not cuddling someone right now and you just really need to feel someone with their arms around you and bury your face in their neck and just feel them close
FUCKING MONDAYS, AM I RIGHT?
DON’T EVEN GET ME STARTED. THERE ISN’T ENOUGH COFFEE IN THE WORLD TO HELP ME RIGHT NOW. I WAS UP UNTIL 4AM LOOKING AT INTERIOR DESIGN BLOGS. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. I’M NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO PAINT MY APARTMENT.
THE INTERNET IS THE WORST FOR THAT KIND OF THING. ONE TIME I WENT ON WIKIPEDIA TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE DRUMMER FROM DEF LEPPARD’S NAME AND I ACCIDENTALLY GOT A DEGREE IN NEUROBIOLOGY.
TELL ME ABOUT IT. I WAS TRYING TO DOWNLOAD SEABISCUIT AND NOW I’M AN ORDAINED MINISTER.
Happy 90th birthday Brando!

At age 19, TED Fellow Eman Mohammed became the first female photographer in the Gaza Strip — a bold move in a culture that often discourages education and work for women. Her colleagues shunned her, and once abandoned her in an open air strike area, waving and laughing as they drove away. It was not her first death threat.
Facing extreme prejudice, she turned her lens to women and children in Gaza. She explains that her images reveal lives often considered inconsequential, unveiling poignant moments of joy and accomplishment. She calls herself “a witness with a choice — to run away or stand still.”
